Victor Mancini, a medical-school dropout, is an antihero for our deranged times. Needing to pay elder care for his mother, Victor has devised an ingenious scam: he pretends to choke on pieces of food while dining in upscale restaurants. Una novela gamberra que me hubiera gustado infinitamente más si la hubiese leído a los veinte años. Es completamente el tipo de mierda que me flipaba. Ahora mismo me ha gustado, aprecio los recursos y hace que limpie un poco el polvo de mi espíritu veinteañero, lo cual es muy agradable. Pero creo que he llegado un poco tarde. Chuck Palanhiuk escribe hilando conceptos como dios, eso sí. 8-)
