A TALE OF TWO CITIES has had a large, faithful and continuing audience for well over a hundred years. One of the most consistently appealing of all Dickens' novels, it is perhaps unmatched by any of his other works for stark drama, real- iStic portrayal of a bloody period in history and a host of memorable characters.
The two cities of the title are Lon- don and Paris and the time is the French Revolution.
